Wells Engineering was one of 17 winners in the Design Stage of the U.S. Department of Energy #WavestoWater Competition. In the final stage, 5 to 10 winners will test out their desalination systems in the ocean to see how much drinking water they can make using only the power of the waves.

Civil Works for New Turbine Technology
Wells Engineering’s conceptual design for a simple and cost-effective way to install proprietary low-head turbines at existing canal drops was featured in a new video at the Natel Energy exhibit booth during the HydroVision 2017 Conference in Denver, Colorado. The project was managed by Small Hydro Consulting and cost estimating was provided by contractor Gracon LLC.
